A wonderful old Tibetan gau with some damage to the metal around the suspension hole at the top. The actual gau has been sealed tight long ago and so the contents inside the gau remain unknown. It also means the back cannot easily be removed and so it is being sold as 'sealed'. The actual gau front is crafted from silver and then gilded with real gold.
