A special commission based on a 16th century iron scorpion sword from Tibet.
A fine looking iron Khadga or blazing wisdom sword with scorpion handle. It can be hung in your home or placed on a shrine to attract the energies of wisdom and clarity, the supreme qualities that cut through delusion and ignorance. The scorpion handled sword is often wielded by Dharma protectors such as Begtse Chen (protector of the Hayagriva Cycle) and other wrathful Dharmapalas.
The blade is decorated with golden flames in the damascened style associated with iron work from Derge, East Tibet. The scorpion itself displays incredible detail and is certainly a masterful example. Hand crafted by a Tibetan family who have been making ritual items for more than 50 years.
Material: Iron decorated with brass inlay
approx 20 inches x 7 inches
Tip: If rust appears on any of your ritual objects made from iron then gently apply olive oil with a toothbrush (used only for this purpose) and dry with a soft dry cloth.
