A rare quality old Indian conch shell (also chank) that is traditionally used to symbolise the offering of music to the enlightened ones and is a potent symbol of the Dharma resounding in all directions. It is beautifully engraved with a Tibetan floral design and parasol, one of the eight auspicious signs to symbolise the Buddha's victory over the Four Maras.
