Fine Art Thangka Print by Flera Birmane.
A beautiful thangka depicting the five-deity mandala with Green Tara as the central figure.
The mandala is a circular diagram that is highly precise. It represents the meditational deity and surrounding environment, the container and contained, animate and inanimate. Mandalas are painted on cloth, on the ceilings of temples, as murals, fashioned from metal, wood or stone, textiles and sometimes from coloured thread and also meticulously created from coloured sand.
The main deity is Green Tara surrounded by Rabtu Pawai Drolma in the east (below),Drolma Ngodrup Jungma in the north(to the right), Buddha Amitabha in the west (above),and Drolma Dugngal Sekma in the south(to the left). The four vases of elixir in the four quarter directions.
