A delightful container crafted from wood and with a patina commensurate with age. This piece still has a leftover smell of Tibetan butter and was clearly used as a butter container for many years. The handle appears to be made from woven Yak hair.
Origin: Collected in Tibet in the 1980s and part of the Stone Routes Collection.
