A highly collectible stone bead in the shape of a stylised elephant. Zoomorphic stone beads were prized as amulets in this region. It displays tan colour and is made from a light weight stone material (possibly limestone) that is not so commonly seen. Most beads of this design were carved from green chalcedony, carnelian or rock crystal.
