Amitayus or Tsepakmé is known as the 'The Buddha of Boundless Life'. He is considered the Sambhogakaya aspect of Amitabha Buddha and is particularly associated with longevity. He is mostly depicted seated in lotus posture and holds in his hands a vase containing the nectar of immortality (missing). This is a very old and worn piece that has been polished smooth from years of handling. One red jewel remains in his necklace.
