This is a beautiful large glass fronted gau that includes a hand painted miniature thangka (Burhany Zurag) of Buddha Shkyamuni. The painting is particularly fine. It does have a copper back but the front frame does appear to be silver. It has suspension hoops at the apex so that it can be worn as an amulet.
Condition: Mostly very good with patina commensurate with age.
