A delightful antique Tibetan silver needle case with auspicious symbols. The sides have also been engraved with a dragon decoration. The overall condition of this piece is very good with a patina commensurate with age. A sliding copper tray removes to reveal a compartment for storing needles and thread. Ornate needle cases were typically worn on a belt and prized for their practical use but were also highly valued as jewellery and used widely as such.
