A great looking antique Tibetan silver bracelet known as a Dhugu. This is a very heavy and chunky piece. Typically worn by women and never removed from the wrist once on. This piece has a high silver content but is undoubtedly mixed with other metals to give more strength to the piece. Open ended bracelets have long been popular in Western Tibet and they can be very simple to highly ornate.
