A great looking antique Tibetan silver earring. Typically worn with the additional support of string tied to the top of the ear due to the heavy weight of the silver. Inlaid with turquoise and red bamboo coral. The coral has been added to replace the original missing cabachons. This particular piece is a male earring from Golok in Amdo, however, some Tibetans from the Aba/Ngaba region of Kham also adopt this style.
