A very striking antique Tibetan silver hair ornament. The overall condition is very good with a lovely patina from being worn and handled. Collected in the Salween Valley region, North East of Lhasa. The elongated shape represents a conch shell, an important symbol of the Dharma. Inlaid with three beautiful turquoise cabachons. A wonderful piece that could easily be worn as a focal pendant on a necklace.
