A rare golden amulet that displays a special yellow citrine gemstone carving of the Buddha Ratnasambhava, one of the principle Dhyani Buddhas.
The name Ratnasambhava means 'origin of jewels' and he is seen with an outstretched hand in the varada mudra of generosity. It has been beautifully framed with hand beaten 22 kt gold and it has a suspension hoop at the apex. The citrine has also been faceted around the front edges and reverse and the Buddha Ratnasambhava has been carved so that he is raised.
This impressive gemstone amulet was a special commission and is one of only two pieces that were made for us in this material. The citrine gemstone is especially clear and vibrant.
