A beautiful necklace comprised of 21 ancient dark blue glass beads that are likely to come from the Ban Chiang region of Northern Thailand. Ban Chiang beads normally have a truncated biconical shape and these beads are more unusual in that they are faceted. The beads display a lovely translucent sapphire blue when back lit. They are also strung with very rare untreated AAA grade Lapis Lazuli beads.
28 Lapis Lazuli Beads (8mm) are from Afghanistan and were cut and polished in Germany.
