Premium Organic Makko Incense Powder
Makko powder is a much prized traditional ingredient in Japanese incense making. It can also be used as a base to burn resins and powders instead of using charcoal discs. Makko means 'incense powder' and comes form the Machillus thunbergi tree which is an evergreen native to Sout East Asia.
The original wood used to create Makko Powder is called Tabu, and it grows on the natural mountains and forests of Japan, Taiwan and Indonesia.
Makko powder is a water soluble adhesive base and can be used for making both incense sticks and cones.
We offer the highest quality grade of Makko and it burns easily and is almost completely odourless.
