A fantastic necklace with a very rare damaged twelve eyed dZi bead. At some point in antiquity the original bead broke in two places and this is the central portion of the bead. It now displays 6 eyes. It has clearly been heirloomed and worn on the body for many centuries after the break. Ancient dZi with 12 eyes are incredibly scarce and if this bead was undamaged it would have a price tag exceeding $2 Million in Asia. It is flanked by two large ancient Bhaisajyaguru dZi (also known as Suleimani Beads) and has a variety of ancient banded agates of various shapes and sizes. There is a total of 28 ancient beads on this necklace.
The remaining condition of the dZi is excellent with weathering commensurate with age. The dZi bead is robust and is free from cracks or repairs.
